Obama Boulevard
On June 20th, L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson introduced a motion to rename “Rodeo Road” to “Obama Boulevard”. Rodeo Road runs through the 10th Council District and was where then-Senator Obama’s first Los Angeles campaign rally took place in 2007. The 10th Council District is home to Washington Boulevard, Adams Boulevard and Jefferson Boulevard, and now it may also be home to Obama Boulevard. Read the full motion here (PDF).
