About Neighbors United

Neighbors United is a Faircrest Heights neighborhood organization, founded in 1981. 

For over 30 years, our mission is to preserve and strengthen the quality of the Faircrest Heights neighborhood by promoting safety, organizing community events, encouraging beautification, and by promoting and facilitating citizen communication, participation, and involvement in local governance.

Neighbors United meets 7 PM every 2nd Monday of every month, at Claude Pepper Senior Citizen Center (1762 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90035).  We hope to see you there!

About Faircrest Heights
Faircrest Heights is a residential neighborhood in the Westside of Los Angeles, CA.  

The boundaries of Faircrest Heights are Pico Blvd. on the north, Fairfax Ave. on the east, Venice Blvd. on the south, and La Cienega Blvd. on the west.  See map below. 

Faircrest Heights is comprised of about 900 mostly single family homes built in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s, with styles of Spanish Colonial Revival, English Revival, and Minimal Traditional.  

Named #3 of the Top 10 Hottest Neighborhoods in America by Business Insider, Faircrest Heights is in close proximity to: Shopping (Beverly CenterThe Grove), Hospitals (Kaiser Permanente, Cedars-Sinai), the 10 Freeway, LAX, and one of the top ranked public high school in the nation, Los Angeles Center of Enriched Studies (L.A.C.E.S)

Model Neighborhood Program
Neighbors United is affiliated with The Model Neighborhood Program (MNP), a 501(c)(3) non-profit neighborhood improvement organization dedicated to vitalizing the community by providing direct support through its Certified Farmers’ Markets and nutrition programs, along with supportive resources to the area’s neighborhood groups and residents.

The MNP is the sponsor of the La Cienega Farmers’ Market at 18th and La Cienega on Thursdays from 2 to 7 pm.
